About Our Work in Madagascar

In October 2007, Malaria No More distributed 110,000 mosquito nets, joining the Madagascar Ministry of Health, Measles Initiative and other partner organizations in an integrated health intervention campaign that distributed a total of 1.4 million nets. Children under the age of five received mosquito nets, de-worming medication, Vitamin A and a measles vaccination. As a result of this campaign, 95% of children under five in Madagascar are covered by a mosquito net while they sleep.
