Kathryn Banas

Events Manager

Kathryn Banas is Events Manager at Malaria No More. She enjoys working under pressure, and thus finds MNM's goal to completely eliminate deaths from malaria by 2015 inspiring. Kathryn previously got her adrenaline pumping by working on special events for the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. A proud Southern transplant and New Orleans native, Kathryn lives for soul (fried) food and, well, other food. She received her Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from Northwestern University after a previous stint at Sarah Lawrence College. Kathryn enjoys traveling, attending and reviewing theatre, heading her very own Burger Club, and photographing everything in sight - especially her adorable niece, Adalyn.
