What We Do
Latest News
There are 99 days between Memorial Day and Labor Day, and many of us spend those days outside — at the beach or on camping trips, at baseball games or backyard barbecues, on the golf course or tennis court — and wondering how best to exclude mosquitoes from our summer plans.
For those of us in the US, mosquitoes are merely an annoyance — but they can be life-threatening to families in Africa, where the deadly bite of a malarial mosquito is a nightly concern, and where a child under 5 dies of the disease every 45 seconds.
This summer, we're taking things up a notch, activating grassroots advocates across the country, including our nearly 300,000 Facebook and Twitter supporters, to host casual house parties to celebrate the season and raise money in increments of $10 — the cost of procuring and delivering a mosquito net to a family.
Your NetNite doesn't have to be all about Malaria No More. Whether you've been thinking about hosting a rooftop party, 4th of July bonfire, weekend picnic, barbeque or even a birthday, just spread the word about malaria and ask your friends for a simple life-saving net contribution. Voila — you're a NetNite host!
