The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria announced that it has pulled funding for two malaria programs in Mali over the misappropriation of the funds. The misappropriation of funds is unfortunate as the millions of dollars slated for the provision of bed nets, vaccines, and preventive medicines were put in jeopardy.
