The Boys & Girls Clubs of America were inspired to help young people like themselves in Africa. More than 150 Boys & Girls Clubs have joined in efforts to raise funds and awareness, earning the organization an award for their service in the fight against malaria from President Bush on World Malaria Day 2008.
