Gary Ginsberg and John Damonti Join Malaria No More Board of Directors


New York, NY-Malaria No More welcomed two new members of its Board of Directors this week as Gary Ginsberg, Executive Vice President of Global Marketing and Corporate Affairs at News Corporation, and John Damonti, President of the Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation, joined in support of the non-profit organization's mission of ending malaria deaths in Africa by 2015.

Malaria No More is determined to end malaria deaths and, along with the broader malaria community, is building a strong coalition of allies to champion the cause. The Board of Directors is comprised of leaders in the fields of business, media, science and beyond-all leveraging their areas of expertise to end the disease. Ginsberg and Damonti bring fresh perspectives to the fight against malaria, ensuring that Malaria No More will continue to maximize every opportunity to save lives through partnership, innovation and relentless determination to end malaria deaths for once and for all.

Gary L. Ginsberg is the Executive Vice President of Global Marketing and Corporate Affairs at News Corporation. Mr. Ginsberg is responsible for coordinating and executing the company's global marketing and investor relations programs, in addition to overseeing corporate affairs, strategic communications, and philanthropic efforts.

John L. Damonti is the President of the Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation as well as Vice President of Corporate Philanthropy at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, a global bio-pharmaceutical company. Mr. Damonti has more than 20 years of experience working in the areas of health policy, community relations and philanthropy. In 1999 the Foundation launched SECURE THE FUTURE, a $150 million comprehensive public-private initiative that seeks to help alleviate the HIV/AIDS crisis in sub-Saharan Africa.
