About Alex Honjiyo
Alex Honjiyo is an innovative finance expert with nearly 15 years of experience structuring impact investments in the Global South. As Director at the Health Finance Coalition, he designs financing strategies that have unlocked more than $150 million to scale innovative healthcare solutions in Sub-Saharan Africa and beyond. Previously, he led the implementation of multi-million-dollar USAID programs at Chemonics International and structured Latin America’s first social impact bond with the Inter-American Development Bank. A Fulbright Scholar, he received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
