About Lara Wragg
Lara Wragg is a global health advocate with experience in research, advocacy, and spatial epidemiology, interested in the interactions between geopolitical insecurities and health outcomes, specifically infectious diseases. As a research intern with STOPAIDS, she conducted research on the shifts in the governance mechanisms of global health and international development. In a similar role at Menoglobal, she conducted a landscape analysis to map women’s health and rights organizations across Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa to guide international partnership strategy. Her undergraduate dissertation used geostatistical tools to analyse the relationship between malaria and armed conflict in the DRC, and was nominated for a national award. Lara has also served as a Student Ambassador for the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. She holds a First Class BA in Geography from the University of Oxford.
