Small, simple, and effective, it provides continuous protection for a year — an important advantage as mosquito behavior evolves. The agreement between the State Department and the Global Fund to bring Guardian™ to 60 million people in malaria-endemic countries could not come at a more critical time. Mosquitoes are a formidable foe, and Guardian™ is exactly the kind of American-led innovation that will help turn the tide against malaria.
