Malaria No More is pleased to learn that the President has announced his intention to nominate Gayle Smith, Senior Director at the National Security Council, to be the Administrator of USAID. We have had the privilege of working with Gayle and her dedicated team towards advancing the cause of malaria control and elimination, and we hope to continue working with her as a key champion in this fight. Ms. Smith also spoke at Malaria No More’s December 2014 Champions Breakfast in which leaders of the private sector and government convened to discuss prioritizing resources to fight the disease.
