Kiefer Sutherland and “24” Join the Malaria Fight

Story

“24: Redemption” was filmed in South Africa, where cast and crew got a first-hand view of life in Sub-Saharan Africa. They learned how malaria affects people across the continent, including by stalling economic growth and development, overwhelming hospitals and taking the life of a child every 45 seconds. Kiefer Sutherland filmed a PSA for Malaria No More while on location, urging viewers to help end malaria deaths by donating simple $10 mosquito nets to protect children from malaria-carrying mosquitoes. The PSA will air during the “24: Redemption” broadcast on November 23, 2008.
